Nuclear energy is one of the important “Gridin's Group" Group of Companies activities (projects). This month, the most important Nuclear power facility in Lithuania - Ignalina Nuclear Power Plant, received a Lithuanian State Nuclear Power Safety Inspectorate (VATESI) operating license validating to operate the Interim Spent Fuel Storage Facility (ISFSF, B1 Project), the construction of which, based on a subcontractor's agreement, is carried out by UAB “Gridin's Group LT".
The “Gridin’s Group” Corporation has successfully completed its participation in a large-scale international project in the wind energy sector – fabrication process of a large-sized steel structures for the Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm, owned by the German company „Iberdrola Renovables Offshore Deutschland GmbH“. The order for the structures was placed by „Bladt Industries A/S“ (Denmark) and the manufacturer - UAB „Gridin's Group LT“ (Lithuania) and „Levator Oy“ (Finland).
The company Gridin’s Group LT was given an Achilles JQS certificate, which helps the company strengthen its position as a company within the offshore development industry, and cooperate together with global industrial oil and gas majors in the network.
On June 8, 2015, the Gridin's Group received a Certificate of Approval issued by Lloyd's Register Quality Assurance Limited. The certificate confirms that the organisation has satisfied GWO training provider requirements and allows it to organize Global Wind Organisation Basic Safety Training for offshore/onshore activities.
On 26 March 2015, the UAB Gridin's Group LT (Lithuania), Levator Oy (Finland) and Bladt Industries A/S (Denmark) companies entered into a tripartite cooperation agreement for the implementation of the Wikinger Offshore Wind Farm project for production of offshore wind power plant upper transition pieces for a new wind farm being constructed in the Baltic Sea.
26th of November, 2014 Gridin's Group received the license issued by State nuclear power safety inspectorate granting the right to carry out the activities in ionizing radiation environment at the nuclear facility.
Rope access specialists of the Gridin's Group participated in the Global Wind Organisation (GWO) basic safety training course in September 2014, organised by Akademia Wiatru in Koszalin, Poland.
On 23 -27 June, training courses according to the programme called “Introduction To Trades in The Wind Power Industry” were organised at the ITC for the first time.
On 29th of May, 2014, the State Energy Inspectorate issued a certificate to the Gridin's Group allowing it to carry out oil and oil installations exploitation works.
On May 7, a routine seminar called "Safe work at Height” organized for Lithuanian companies took place at the Gridin's Group International Training Center. The seminar was attended by representatives of AB Klaipėdos nafta, UAB Plungės Jonis, AB YIT Kausta, UAB YIT Kausta Būstas, UAB Empower-Fidelitas, Alytus Vocational Training Centre, UAB Nordus, AB Lietuvos energijos gamyba and UAB Nota Bene.
