Have You Ever Heard of a Town Called Rauma?

Rauma is the third oldest town, located in the west coast of Finland. Walking around old Rauma is like stepping into the fairytale – narrow streets, colorful houses, and decorative gates – everything creates atmosphere of the long forgotten past. Enchanting Old Rauma was chosen to the UNESCO World Heritage list in 1991 as a unique example of a living and well-maintained old Nordic wooden town.

Despite its historical nature, Rauma is also known for its shipbuilding industry. The 212-metre vessel, called “My Star” will be fully assembled by the end of July. Stay with us for more news from Rauma!
