Gridin’s Group participates in repairs of SAIPEM 7000 at DAMEN shipyard

GRIDIN’S GROUP participates in repairs of Saipem 7000 - one of a few largest semi-submersible crane vessels in the world. With capacities to handle offshore constructions worldwide, working in depths greater than 2.000 meters and the major heavy lift operations up to 14.000 tones.

One of the crucial roles during lifting operations are ballast systems. Our team will be responsible for renewing parts of such system - water ballast tanks. Project main challenges are: very short lead time, specific repair sequences to maintain structural integrity, tight work spaces, high quality expectations.
