Gridin’s Group Successfully Completes Repairs on Yellowstone and AIDAnova in the Netherlands

Gridin’s Group continues its partnership with Damen Shiprepair, performing repair projects of various scales and complexities.From October to late November 2024, our team of 55 specialists worked at Damen Shiprepair in Rotterdam-Botlek,
carrying out the conversion of Void 1&2 into ballast water tanks and performing other repair works on the Yellowstone vessel. This project demanded exceptional precision due to the ship's size and the specifics of the tasks involved.
The cruise ship AIDAnova ceased operations at the Port of Hamburg on November 13, 2024, and was relocated toRotterdam for routine maintenance and refurbishment in Damen Shiprepair’s dry dock. The repair work was entrusted to a team of 22 specialists from Gridin’s Group.

Interesting Fact: AIDAnova is the world’s first cruise ship powered by liquefied natural gas (LNG), making it one of the most eco-friendly ships in its category.
