COURSEULLES-SUR-MER | Jack Up Vessels Mobilization and Demobilization Project at Damen Shiprepair

As autumn begins, we’d like to share our largest summer project with Damen Shiprepair, a valued long-term partner: the recycling of Jack-Up vessel structures for an Offshore Support Vessel in the Netherlands.

This ambitious project included fabrication, removal, and modification of offshore structures, totalling approximately 650 tons and Gridin’s Group team of ±140 workers and 10 foremen. The project successfully finished at the end of July 2025, with start of demobilization at Damen Shiprepair Rotterdam location Schiedam and mobilization works at Damen Shiprepair location Botlek.

Key Milestones of COURSEULLES-SUR-MER project:

• 400 tons of offshore structures fabricated, including partial customization of existing grillages.
• Approximately 250 tons of old structures removed from the incoming vessels.
• A total of 650 tons of combined prefabricated and repurposed structures installed on another vessel.
