Assembly of Randsfjord Elrond Passenger Ferry in Norway.
The vessel started its journey in the shipyard of Netherlands, where it was build and later demounted for a more efficient transportation. Randsfjord Elrond is an electric ferry that runs on battery. Its name “Elrond” comes from “El” that means electric and “Rond” is the old name of the Randsfjord.
The ferry will be transporting people and cars between the east and west of the Randsfjord all year round. Gridin’s Group LT is excited to work on the project throughout all the stages of its construction!
